I live in a small island called Penang in Malaysia.  I’m married to Michael and we a son (Xian) and a daughter (Ying).

Xian is known by relatives as an ‘ang mo kau’ which translates to mean Englishman or Westerner because he speaks good English and has a very wide vocabulary of words for his age of 7. He loves pizzas, McDonald’s, salads and his hobbies are bowling, snooker and golf.

Ying is 4 years younger and loves to be included in anything that we do.  She loves noodles and curry, including laksa.  I’ve not spent a lot of time teaching her, but she’s a fast learner.

It has been a very challenging time for my family as we are pushed to limits in business and in work.

In our quest for a better life for the family,   I remind myself everyday that everything is possible as long as we do not give up hope and are doing our utmost in our endeavours.
